Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) - Secret (Re-mix/New Mix) by OMD 1988 (Photo #5) US 12” Vinyl/EP/Maxi-Single containing 3 Secret versions: New 12” Remix 5:52, New 7” Remix 3:46 on Side A, Old 12” Remix 6:14 plus Telegraph (Live) 3:58 on Side B (Photo #5). Printed in U.S.A. (Photo #5). With printed barcode (Photo #6). ‘Secret’ became OMD’s second US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart entry, peaking at number 63, and also made number 34 on the UK Singles Chart. Paul Humphreys sings lead vocals on it. The song was featured in the 1988 movie Arthur 2: On the Rocks and on its soundtrack album. It was also re-released to radio in the US as the follow-up to the track "Dreaming" for The Best Of OMD album release, approximately one month prior to the movie's premiere. It received renewed airplay on several US contemporary hit radio stations. "Secret" Original version appears on the A&M album "The Best Of O.M.D." SP-5186

"Telegraph" Recorded live at Hammersmith Odeon, London 1983. (Previously Unreleased). This version of Telegraph had previously been released overseas on the Tesla Girls single in 1984.

Vinyl appears to be standard black, but is actually pressed on dark brown translucent vinyl, sometimes referred to as "audiophile" or "virgin vinyl", possibly unstickered Quiex II pressing, which A&M often used in the 1980s. NM/M Play Grade for majority of the time. Each track was listened to from start to finish. No skips/jumps nor repeats (needle getting stuck in the groove). Please see below for specific details.
