I'm offering The Band album "The Best of The Band" released in 1976 by Capitol Records. In stereo. Length: 47:34, 11 songs. #ST-11553. In its original jacket and sleeve. I've owned this since it came out and have never played it. This has been stored upright in my album rack in my home. I worked in the entertainment business here in Hollywood and got a lot of records for free. Sometimes duplicates. It's in mint condition. The jacket and sleeve are in good condition. I've listed this as new as the only other choice ebay gives is used, and that it is not. This does not mean the record just came off the assembly line. It means it's unplayed. The Band was a Canadian-American rock band formed in Toronto, Ontario, in 1967. It consisted of four Canadians and one American: Rick Danko (bass, guitar, vocals, fiddle), Garth Hudson (organ, keyboards, accordion, saxophone), Richard Manuel (piano, drums, vocals), Robbie Robertson (guitar, songwriting, vocals), and Levon Helm (drums, vocals, mandolin, guitar). The Band combined elements of Americana, folk, rock, jazz, country, and R&B. "The Best of the Band" was their first greatest hits package. It featured ten tracks taken from six of their first seven albums (not counting 1974's Before the Flood or 1975's The Basement Tapes, both with Bob Dylan), it featured two tracks from the first, second, third and seventh albums, one each from the fourth and fifth, rounded out by the new 1976 single "Twilight". ©Wikipedia   .
