Up for bidding is an original 1961 mono press of the 1961 Max Roach classic We Insist,Max Roach's- Freedom Now Suite.
Record condition:A high VG+. It would be mint,apart from a few light scratches on side A. Both sides are incredibly glossy. And the labels are mint.
Sleeve condition:VG. Age related fading on the front. Nothing too terrible. It has Maxi Roach's signature on the from when he played in Leeds in 1989 ( a gig which can be confirmed with an Internet search).
The back of the sleeve has age related wear. Nothing terrible. There's a number stamp on the back. And numbers wrote in biro. Only small. There's a split to the spine on the top and some wear to the bottom. The opening to the sleeve has slight tears to the top and bottom. All in all,it's pretty structurally strong.
It's a great copy.
