Here we offer what is, hands-down, the best comedy recording ever: the great Len Maxwell's "Merry Monster Christmas," from 1964. Performing every voice on the record himself, Maxwell creates a gang of hilarious characters in addition to delightful, orchestrally-backed Christmas musical recordings (the album actually issued a popular 45 single!) These are exceptionally scarce, as most kids (like my brothers and I) played the heck out of it and then used the disk as a frisbee until Christmas came around again. The cover design is the best cover design ever, and somehow he got Santa himself to write the liner notes! There are a few light scratches or sleeve scuffs on the disk, but for the most part it is in really great condition. I've replaced the plain original inner record sleeve with a vinyl sleeve, and the record cover comes wrapped in Mylar.
This would make a remarkable addition to your collection, or a very special gift!
