COLUMBIA RECORD NO.569-D MASCULINE WOMEN FEMININE MEN. ! SUNG BY FRANK HARRIS (IRVING KAUFMAN.) RECORDED IN NEW YORK JAN 29 1926. up for bid is a comic song that is more topical today than it was when it was written in 1926 ! one of the very first "queer songs " recorded, now i don't think it was intended to be so at the time but who knows ? this is the only recording of the song that i know of that has BOTH verses and chorus' on it recorded at the time it came out ( i have two different recordings of it with only the chorus on it ) and irving kaufman ( under the name frank harris ) does a great job singing it too. the flip side is also kaufman singing a comic song called "poor papa" both sides look E but play E + loud and very clear and a collectors prize if you can find a copy, it took me years to find mine. best of luck...
