A great opportunity to buy a VINYL LP from the 1970s by The Upsetters called "Many Moods Of The Upsetters".
This is a U.K. FIRST pressing from 1970 on the Pama Economy label (SECO 24) (stereo).
The vinyl is in a clean and shiny condition with several light surface marks and I have played both sides all of the way through and there are a few clicks noticeable in places, but the vast majority of tracks play fine and are very listenable.
WARNING
However, on Side One at the end of track 5 and beginning of track 6, there is a long scratch you can feel which goes along the grooves (not across the grooves) and causes clicks for several revolutions and it jumps before playing normally. I should add that it is probably advisable not to use your best stylus on this part of the record.
Overall, I would grade the vinyl condition as FAIR, though 11 of the 13 tracks play as VERY GOOD, if not better. (Side Two has 7 tracks, though only 6 are listed).
The matrix numbers in the dead wax are:- SECO 24A2-H (side one) and SECO 24B2-H (side two).
The labels are clean and free from any stickers, writing or major defects.
The record is flat and has no warps of any description.
The vinyl is housed within a plain inner sleeve. The front-laminated picture cover is in an EXCELLENT condition, with the spine and edges in strong shape.
The pictures shown are of the actual item.
Please note there is NO Buy It Now price, as I wish the auction to
go its full term.
Records are graded according to Record Collector Magazine
standards and definitions.
The record will be sent by
Royal Mail's 2nd class "Signed For" service for added
security and "International Tracked & Signed For" if sent
overseas.
International buyers please note: Import duties, taxes and fees are NOT included in the item price or shipping costs.
