Led Zeppelin: Self-Titled, LP, Debut album, Atlantic Records, Reissue, Richmond Press, SD 8216 on cover and label, PR RG W ST-A-681461 - A -1-1111 P AT etched in runout. I’m not able to find out an issue date but most of the albums we got from our friend were mid 70s. I'm providing this so you can check my info on discogs or another site if you'd like to verify. You will get this exact album, as pictured. Because of the difficulty of accurately determining first pressings, I don’t list my albums as such, unless a verifiable source states that it is. Just because it came out the first year doesn’t make it a first press. If you’re paying extra for a first press, you should be able to verify.
Album s flat and plays without skipping. There are a bunch of scratches on both sides. Very light on side 2, a little heavier on side 1. None can be felt but the ones on side 1 may have increased the noise somewhat. I didn’t make any notes on it so it must not have been very bad. But if you are concerned, let me know and I’ll play it again. It’s a great album. Our friend wrote his name on side 2 label. Cover is showing its age with a moderate amount of corner/edge wear, ring wear and dirt/age spots. Bottom edge is splitting. Inner sleeve has a split bottom and side.
We’re selling our collection of LPs that we’ve bought over the years. They hadn’t been played for over 20 years so we cleaned and listened to each one to be sure there are no skips when playing on our turntable, an Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-GM. I didn’t make notes on each one as I listened to it as far as any clicks, pops, etc. but I got rid of several that had too much noise or any skips. If you want me to go back and play an album and let you know of any surface noise, clicks, etc., please contact me and I will give you a full rundown prior to purchase.
