This sale is for an original 1971 pressing of Maggot Brain by Funkadelic. This is the original true first press catalog number WB-2007. The condition of the vinyl I would grade as VG minus. This condition is graded based on numerous surface paper scuffs along with some feelable scratches between side, one and side two. I have taken pictures of the vinyl record to give the best representation of its condition. Side one track one has a noticeable scratch that has a tick/pop lasts through halfway of track one, then it becomes more quiet, but there is surface noise and occasional ticks/pops throughout the whole record. The labels, despite the vinyls condition, look rather clean with minimal cracking or signs of wear. They are bright with very little wear. The condition of the cover would grade as very good minus (VG -) with mild creasing on the front, a stain noticeable, a name written on the back with moderate/heavy shelf wear and spine chipping. But there are no splits. The uni-pack inner does not appear to have any damage other than mild staining, but no splits on the inner unipak either. The record will come in a record protector sleeve. The original inner sleeve is not included. Overall, this appears to be a great filler copy or beginner copy for a lover of this legendary funk album!
