Pink Floyd
'Animals'
EMI, UK, 1977
SHVL 815
THOUGHT BY many to be one of the best Floyd albums and arguably somewhat overlooked in the cannon of their work. In many respects I would tend to agree with that assessment, certainly side two is a marker of excellence in anybodys book with three classic cuts in 'Pigs (Three Different Ones)', 'Sheep' and 'Pigs On The Wing 2' marking this bands committment to quality.
Came housed in one of the most iconic album covers of all time - a stunning gatefold with Battersea Power Station taking centre stage.
Pressing: EMI, UK, 1977
Vinyl: Lovely clean and shiny condition with virtually no signs of any use - beautiful shiny surface. Can't see any spindle marks on labels and no visible scuffs. Grades as top MINT-!
Cover: Again, virtually no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated gatefold cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is the 1st pressing very wide, straight, stiff and square. Looks like it walked out of the factory yesterday. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
Inserts: Cardboard inner lyric sleeve
