'Happy To Meet Sorry To Part'
Oates, Eire, 1972
STOAT-LP
DEBUT ALBUM from this fine Irish band of major renown steeped in mythology and folk lore. It's an album that demonstrated the desire to be 'international' rather than a homegrown Irish curiosity. The music is gorgeously textured folk rock with splendid progressive tracks. It's all good and its all as clean as a whistle.
Tough to find in decent shape let alone in this condition.
Pressing: OATS, Eire, 1972
Vinyl: Superb clean condition. No spindle marks and no other signs of use. Grades as MINT-!
Cover: Again, very little signs of use. Housed in a gatefold die cut cover made to look like a concertina. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is straight, stiff and uncrushed. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 52 years after release. Grades as MINT-!
Inserts: None
Matrix:
Side One: STOAT-LP-1 A1
Side Two: STOAT-LP-1 B1
