The vinyl is VG+. I just finished listening to it and it plays great. You can see light scratches on both sides, but nothing effects playback. There are no skips or repeats, no noise due to scratches either during the songs or during intros, transitions and exits. On Side 1 there is some damage on the very edge of the album and it results in a scuff-scuff-scuff sound during the quiet lead in to the first track, but it drops out before the music starts. You can see that on the vinyl, but it doesn't show up in our pictures. Depending on where your needle drops onto the album, you may not even hear it. The labels are both pristine and one has E A S T stamped into it (I've searched the archives but to no avail. I've noticed some of my best sounding 1980's vinyl has the letters E A S T stamped concentrically around the spindle hole. I assume this signifies a pressing plant but any more info from the masters of pressing plant info? Those pressings more than likely came from Specialty Record Co. of Olyphant, Pennsylvania. By that time, Warner took over that plant, as well as the Allied Record Co. of Los Angeles, California. The "E A S T" was stamped around the spindle hole of the Olyphant pressings to distinguish "East Coast" pressings from the West Coast pressings (which had only a stamped "A" above the spindle hole).) Long explanation, but eBay doesn't allow hyperlinks.
The inner sleeve is plain paper. The jacket presents well, but the left edge is almost worn through (this is where the record hits the jacket when it is dropped back in).
