The albums included in the set are 'Van Halen' (1978), 'Van Halen II' (1979), 'Women and Children First' (1980), 'Fair Warning' (1981), 'Diver Down' (1982) and '1984' (1984)
Van Halen (Self-titled), BSK 3075, Vinyl LP 1978, First Pressing Listening to this one was surprising.  There are multiple scratches on both sides, but they look like light scratches.  However, you do hear them.  There are no errors, no skips or repeats, but you hear noise during the intros, transitions, and exits.  Also, there are a few audible pops during the quiet part of Eruption ☹️ and you can hear some during Running With the Devil.  There are some small, light stains on the label on Side 1, looks like it may have been splashed with soda or coffee.  These may not show up in the picture.  There are some spindle marks, as well.  The original sleeve is present and looks good, but it does have a 3.5" seam split in the usual location.  The outer jacket is in okay used condition, about typical for a record this old.  I would rate the vinyl G+ and the jacket as G+ to VG.
Van Halen II, HS 3312, Vinyl LP 1979, First Pressing Visual inspection reveals multiple light scratches on both sides, with some that look more significant.  The labels are okay, but show some staining (I suspect this has to do with the paper Warner used for the labels, as I've seen this a lot) and, also, some spindle marks when held at the right angle to the light.  The record plays without skips or repeats, but there is noise/pops during the intros, transitions, and exits.  There is a noticeable pop during playback of You're No Good, at the beginning of Bottoms Up!  There are multiple pops during Light Up The Sky and some pops during the quiet part of Women In Love.  Vinyl is VG, according to Goldmine's rating system.  The inner sleeve is the factory original and it is in very good shape, though it does have a 2.5" seam split along the bottom edge.  The jacket is in good used shape compared to albums from this era.  Jacket is VG.
Van Halen Women and Children First vinyl LP, HS 3415, First Pressing Visual inspection, the record doesn't look bad.  There are visible scratches on Side 1 and multiple scratches (parallel scratches I assume come from sliding the record in/out of the sleeve) on Side 2.  However, there are pops during the quiet parts of the record (intros, transitions, and exits) and during the beginning of Fools and during Tora! Tora!  There are no repeats or skips.  According to Goldmine's rating system, the record is VG.  The inner sleeve is plastic and probably not original and the jacket has water damage front and back, which can be seen in the pictures, which is a shame because it is otherwise in great shape.

Van Halen Fair Warning vinyl LP HS 3540 First Press 1981 Visual inspection reveals multiple scratches, one that looks significant on Side 2.  The album plays through without skips or repeats.  There is noise/pops during the quiet parts (intros, transitions, exits), but not anything that negatively impacts the music, except for Unchained, where there are several noticeable pops during the first minute of the song.  The album is warped slightly, but it does not effect playback.  The labels are in good condition, but there are spindle marks when the album is held at the right angle to the light.  The inner sleeve is the factory original and it is in excellent shape, though it does have a seam split at the bottom about 1" long.  The jacket is in incredibly good shape, and I mean NM, but there is some damage to the upper right corner, where it looks like a price tag was removed.  I don't know if this can be seen in the picture.  You can see it when you angle it to the light.  Vinyl is VG and the inner sleeve and jacket are VG+ to NM.  If you have a NM record with a bad jacket/inner sleeve, grab this for a replacement.

Van Halen “Diver Down” Vinyl Record Vintage Original (1982) WB Records BSK 3677 Visual inspection shows multiple scratches on both sides of the album. The album plays through without skips or repeats, but, unfortunately, you can hear those scratches during intros, transitions, and exits. There are a few pops during Cathedral and about halfway through Secrets, there are two loud pops. On Side 2 there are some audible pops during Dancing in the Street and The Full Bug. Side 2 label has some staining which might show in the pictures, but the labels are otherwise okay. I'd rate the vinyl G+ to VG, based on Goldmine's rating system. The inner sleeve is the factory original and it has a 2.5" seam split on the bottom edge, but is otherwise in good condition. The jacket is VG+, with some wear along the bottom edge from sitting on a shelf, which probably won't be visible in the pictures.
Van Halen 1984 First Press, Winchester Pressing 1-23985, back cover upside down Visual inspection, multiple scratches on both sides of the record, some that look very significant. The good news is the record plays without skips and repeats. The bad news is, those scratches can be heard during intros, transitions and exits on both sides of the album. There are pops toward the end of 1984, during Panama, at the end of Top Jimmy, and a couple of other places. The labels have some staining and spindle marks. I would rate the vinyl as G according to Goldmine's rating system. The inner sleeve is original and it has seam splits along the bottom and both sides, bottom about 3.5", side about 2" and a very small split on the third side. It is also water damaged/stained, as can be seen in the pictures. The jacket is not in good shape. I think it could be cleaned up, but the color is bleached out on the front. What looks like torn cover is actually cover from other records stuck to this one, front and back. The color has been bleached out on the back cover, as well, in the lower left corner.
