Original 1st UK pressing of the classic David Bowie LP “The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars”.

Earliest matrix numbers with 1E/1E endings, no Mainman credit on labels, sleeve or inner.

Matrix numbers:

Side 1: BGBS 0864 - 1E B2AAI

Side 2: BGBS 0865 - 1E A4S

Vinyl condition:

Vinyl grades EX overall. A couple of small scratches on side 2.

Side 1 plays EX+ and has no visible marks. A little faint background noise in between a couple of tracks only.

Side 2 plays EX- due to a small scratch on the start of Rock N Roll Suicide. This causes 5 or 6 clicks in the introduction to the song. A few light crackles in a couple of places but this is minimal. No other issues.

Very nice condition overall. Labels are really clean and have no spindle traces.

Sleeve condition:

The sleeve grades as VG+ to EX- with very light ring wear and a few light creases. Certainly nothing major at all.

The inner is EX and one of the best I have seen. A few minor creases on the corners

Overall this is a great playing original and earliest 1st pressing.
