Maddox Bros & Rose one sided Metal acetate 12" 78 I Couldn’t Believe it Was True - Take 1
Recorded at Crystal Recording Studio for 4 Star on 7/15/1947 with 2 hired unnamed musicians.
No matrix numbers in acetate, but old sleeve it has 4* 1589-1
The playing grooves of this acetate start 1/3 into the acetate and in a Mint- condition. It must have stood in 4 Star studio warehouse untouched and unplayed for over 75 years.
