I'm offering the double album "Who's Who On ABC Records" from ABC Records. Two white vinyl discs. A compilation of various artists with that label. Not for sale - promotional item. In stereo. Length: 24 songs by 24 different musicians. Catalog #SP-1077. Pressed in 1978, one year before ABC was sold to MCA Records. Each of the four sides are divided into special classes of music: Pop, R&B, Country, and Jazz/Gospel/Classical. In its original gatefold jacket and all white sleeves. I've owned this since it came out and have never played it. So I have faith that it's in mint condition. This has been stored upright in my album rack in my home. I worked in the entertainment business here in Hollywood and got a lot of records for free. Sometimes duplicates. The gatefold jacket is in mint condition. Likewise are the sleeves inside. ABC Records was an American record label founded in New York City in 1955. It originated as the main popular music label operated by the Am-Par Record Corporation. Am-Par also created the Impulse! jazz label in 1960. It acquired many labels. ABC produced music in a variety of genres: pop, rock, jazz, country, rhythm and blues, soundtrack, gospel, and polka. In addition to producing records, ABC licensed masters from independent record producers, and purchased regionally released records for national distribution. Because of financial problems except for its Nashville office, ABC Records was sold on January 31, 1979 to MCA Records. MCA discontinued ABC Records on March 5, 1979 and albums in the ABC catalog still selling well were reissued on MCA. ©Wikipedia
