The jacket on this is mostly good but is unfortunately let down by a notable tear and crease in the bottom right corner, a small dent on the top edge and some light scuffs - thanks to my cat that decided to hunt a tiny house spider behind it. Make sure to check the last pics in the listing.
When viewed in bright, direct light there's quite a lot of very fine microscratches across the records themselves which were there when I bought it new, so can only assume it's from the factory. I don't think they have any real bearing on sound and the record sounds great.
The big plus here is that the mastering is much, much better than the digital versions (more dynamic). There's just a touch of surface noise if I'm being fussy but it's largely very uniform, limited to quiet passages and sits in a nice frequency band.
The records have been played about 7-8 times and have been in and out of the sleeve only a few times more. They've been in storage for a few years now as I don't currently have a turntable.
I'll give them a light clean with my old antistatic brush before sending but they may need a more thorough clean to get the best out of them after all this time.
