This is a 78 RPM, five-record set of Bing's Christmas Carols, Decca Album A-403, including 'Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is Comin' to Town with the Andrews Sisters. It also includes Bing Crosby's classic 1942 recording of 'White Christmas'. Several tracks on this 1945 album were omitted or re-recorded on the later 1955 version, including 'White Christmas', whose 1942 master recording was worn out by the end of World War II, so the 1947 re-recording was used on later pressings. This pressing includes the songs 'Let's Start the New Year Right' and 'Danny Boy', which were left off all subsequent pressings. This album still has its original leaflet listing tracks and information.
