Jacksonville variant, Capitol rainbow label with ''MFD. BY CAPITOL RECORDS, INC. U.S.A.'' in the bottom rim, to the left of the T. M., the Capitol logo, and the rest of the usual, standard boilerplate wording.
Issued in a gatefold cover with a stapled 24-page booklet inside, the last page is glued to the rear panel near the booklet seam.
This original mono variant does not have an "X" in the label's matrix data.
Also, original issue has ("No You're Not" said Little Nicola) under the "I Am The Walrus" title inside the gatefold sleeve in block print and not cursive as in later issues.
