Howdy and welcome to my store! "Klatter" is the sixth collaborative release between Merzbow (Japanese noise musician Masami Akita) and Japanese experimental doom band Boris, released in Japan only! It was originally planned for release on Troubleman Unlimited in 2007 under the unconfirmed title Mellow Peak, but for unknown reasons it did not happen. The album features re-recorded versions of "Naki Kyoku" and "Akuma no Uta" from Akuma no Uta (2003). It is limited to one pressing of 1,000 copies and will not be repressed. There will be no CD or digital download version. -6th collaboration work between Japanese heavy rock / noise god Boris and Merzbow. -recorded in 2004, mixed in 2005, originally planned to be released by Troubleman Unlimited (under unconfirmed title "Mellow Peak") though not happened due to some reasons. All master rights are cleared then Daymare unveils the album finally as it should be. -They played what you can imagine or expect from them, raw heavy rock, harsh noise plus lots of kraut rock atmosphere this time. -Re-recorded version of two classic Boris tracks from 2003 album "Akuma no Uta" (CD version via Southern Lord) -gorgeous tip-on style gatefold cover plus vellum side strip, high quality cutting and pressing, 100% made in Japan. -strictly limited to 1,000 copies worldwide, no re-press, no CD or digital version.
