Nektar • Journey To The Centre Of The Eye • 2013 • NM • CLP 9958 • Red Vinyl LP  Thanks for taking a look at my auction. Up for sale is a Nektar LP.

I play test every album that I sell on eBay, I have found you can't rate an LP accurately by just visually inspecting a album, I have seen too many albums that look Mint and sound terrible lot's of pops, clicks, skips, noise, etc. and I have seem many albums that have lot's of scuff marks and scratches that play great no noise, clicks, pops or skips. Play testing is the only way to really judge how a record sounds so that is why I take the time to play every record I sell so you know exactly what you are getting.

I have been a collector since 1968 when I was 12 years old, since that time I have purchased somewhere in the neighborhood of 15,000 LP's. I am the original owner of this LP or I purchased the album used when I worked at Moby Disc Records In L.A. when I was a kid. I take good care of my albums, they have been in a pet free, smoke free home. In some cases I have only played these LP's once or twice to record them to Reel-To-Reel tape and have listened to the tape instead of the LP.

I have play tested every track of every album (except for LP's that are sealed) so I can list extactly what condition the album. I have used the following system to test all of my LP's a Clearaudio turntable, with Benz Ruby Cartridge. You will not see any VG++++++ or M------ ratings so you know what you are getting.

Since I play test every album, I don't rate how a record looks visually. I have seen albums that have many visual scuff and scratch marks that play beautifully and many albums that look perfect that have so many clicks and pops that they are a total waste. So I think it is more important how the record plays, not what it looks like.

Before play testing the album, I wash it using my AcousTech Ultra Vacuum Record Cleaner and Disk Doctor Cleaning solutions. I then zap them with my Zerostat anti-static gun and place them in a new anti-static record sleeve (Don't worry I leave the original sleeve with the record).

Why am I selling? Well my wife and me have decided to downsize our life since our kids are grown and it is time to let some of the stuff I have collected over the years go and since the vinyl takes up a lot of space and weighs a ton it is the first to go.

I want you to be happy with your purchase so if you have any issue please contact me before leaving feedback, I am very sure I can work out things so you will be happy. Also please know that the way eBay uses "Detailed Seller Rating" any rating less then "5 Stars" is actually a bad score so if you don't feel you can give me a 5 Star rating across the board let me know and I will see if I can fix things to your satisfaction.

I can now offer digital copies of the albums you purchase from me, these are high quality 24/96 files in AIFF format. I can also convert them to WAV, FLAC or MP3 formats. All albums will be broken up into tracks compete with meta data for each track. I also include high resolution scans of the front and back covers. I do no processing of the digital tracks you get the raw recording nothing added or taken out. Please contact me at the time of purchase for the cost of this service. Please add 24 to 48 hours for your order to ship if you elect to purchase the digital copies.
