I located the album at an Arkansas estate sale (same state where Johnny grew up)......   Lots of ebay photos are posted.   No reference is made it is a 'reprint.'    Because of the style of record labels and SUN RECORD COMPANY Incorporated logo on bottom edge,  I am certain  it is the first edition.   I posted lots of photos to help with your assessment.    Top left corner of front reads"LP 1220".....   Record itself shows SU 119 on first side, and SU 120 on second side.   (see ebay photos.)
I looked everything over real closely.   Cover has a few very light rubs (less than expected).   These are light and hard to photograph, so I posted some 'closeups' which you can zoom on to get a good assessment.   Main wear is fact there is separation at seam of top edge, which
runs about  1/2 across.      There are no marks or tears otherwise.     Album is shiny, with only a vert few minor scratches.   Plays well and has been well cared for.
