Sonny & Brownie -- Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee
This is the original issue of 1973, not the digitally remastered version of 1988. A&M SP-4379
Review by Mark Allan (exerpted) "In a way, this is the veteran duo's version of , a meeting of old black bluesmen with young white admirers. and are among the "youngsters" on this powerful statement that includes a definitive version of 's wickedly subtle anti-slavery tune "Sail Away." 's trademark whoops are energizing."
I'm not a record dealer. I'm selling my personal collection. I describe them as well as I can, grade conservatively and add good pictures. I offer free media mail shipping.
The best indications of content and condition are the photographs above. This record has been carefully cleaned with a Spin-Clean Disk washer, but I live in a dry climate, so some dust will appear in photos. It is superficial, not in the grooves.
Free shipping by USPS Media Mail. The disk will be removed from the sleeve and mailed with the sleeve and jacket in a clear plastic envelope.
Please pay by PayPal within two days. We pack well and ship fast.
If you like blues, check my other listings. I'm selling records by Lightning Hopkins, Muddy Waters, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGee, Taj Mahal, Elmore James and others.
