Mattrix Nos: ILPS 9165 A-1U and B-2U, and the word "STERLING" etch/printed into both sides?

Released on Island Records in 1971.

Record condition: Disc has a few surface marks but still has nice sheen. However! Side 1 Track 1 has a a small scuff mark which doesn't affect play. Side 2 Track 1 has a fine scratch through the first half of the song, this produces a quiet, but aubible click, personally I could live with it because it's not too intrusive, but it is there. Side 2 Track 3 has two small marks but because the tune is faster and busier than most on the album, there is no noticeable affect on the sound. Side 2 Track 4 has a small mark but again, it doesn't produce anything unpleasant when played. I've just played it all the way through and overall the record plays very well indeed, it's in pretty good shape. Despite it's shortcomings, it's a copy that you can put on, listen to and thoroughly enjoy, there is some minor background noise but it never really interferes with the enjoyment of this classic album. Labels are clean and there is no writing throughout.

  Cover is in good condition except for the spine, which is split and deteriorating down it's entire length, that said, although the spine looks poor, it is present down the whole length and is not in danger of tearing off, the damage is only to the outer skin. Original? light blue inner is present but record has been kept in a separate poly-lined inner.

Record will be mailed in its plastic sleeve, in proper mailer with two stiffeners.
