The King Odom Quartet 78 from 1954 Amazin' WILLIE MAYS b/w Basin Street Blues, on Perspective label is in Mint/Mint- condition and the labels are clean.
This is a great rhythm and blues group recording about this great baseball centerfield slugger, but it didn't sell many copies because The New York Giants stepped in to squash it, claiming it would invade Mays' privacy.
TWO EXCELLENT SIDES by this great under-rated R&B/Gospel pioneer harmony group!
