Outsider ist das 24ste Studio Album von Uriah Heep, und schließt an die Erfolge des Vorgängers Into The Wild und der intensiven, weltweiten Tour der Band an.

Uriah Heep begann mit den Aufnahmen im Januar 2014 in den Liscombe Park Studios in Buckinghamshire, England. Das Album beinhaltet 11 brandneue Songs, darunter viele epische Erweiterungen zum gewaltigen Repertoire von Rock-Klassikern der Band.
