POP & ROCK 12" RECORDS LOT of 10 - JEFF BECK, PENGUIN CAFE ++ Thanks for taking a look at our listings. The item shown is the one being sold.   Thank you for looking at our listing. We are running a very large record collection that belonged to a late family member of mine. He collected these going back to the early-1970s. Some he played the hell out of (Rush was his favorite) and others he took great care with and labeled some "Import - Do Not Play" or with other notations.
When we were selling these records one-at-a-time, we were listing them for $9 and free shipping. Thus, we were netting about $6.60 per record after the USPS got their (approx.) $2.40. Regardless, our buyers were spending $9 (minimum bid) for their records. Not thrilled with the rate of bidding we are now bundling them up in lots. Obviously, if there are enough different titles from one artist we are running that as a lot. Then, we have put together group lots of similar acts. Thus, if we sell a 10-record lot for $22.50, after shipping we're getting about $1.75 a record but the USPS is only getting about $5 and our buyers are only paying $2.25 per record. It's kind of sad since this was a treasured collection in the family and sellers get so little selling records that it's a shame and not a great legacy but at least we've had fun, and a lot of memories, sorting through all of the records. RIP Ralph.
Condition, as briefly noted above, ranges anywhere from 1 to 10, really. While many of the older ones show plenty of use most of the later ones (1980s, mainly) are in very nice shape as the man grew up and took better care of them. While there are many terrific high-grade copies of any and all here, generally speaking the oldest ones are poor and the newer ones are in great shape. Since these sell for so little, it's not practical to grade each one so the theme this week will be "a lot of records for hardly any money and some might even be in great shape".
