Lightning Bolt has released Oblivion Hunter, an eclectic compilation of the band’s recordings from over the years. The record represents the band’s 20-year career and conviction. The Rhode Island-based noise rock is composed of Brian Chippendale (drums and vocals) and Brian Gibson (bass guitar). The band formed in 1994 while Chippendale and Gibson were still attending the Rhode Island School of Design. The duo, notorious for their energetic, guerrilla-style live performances, normally plays on the ground instead of being confined to performing on the stage.
