VERY RARE 1987 EAZY E - NWA " THE BOYZ -N- THE HOOD " 12 single RUTHLESS RECORDS - ( MAS # RR-9763B ) MRC-1005. This is one of the first original copies under Macola Records. Before this Ruthless Records From Compton was a independent company. ORIGINAL RELEASE ( see last picture ) - SIDE 1 - THE BOYZ -N- HOOD ( explicit lyrics ) 5:37 - FAT GIRL 2:46 / SIDE 2 - L.A. IS THE PLACE (5:10) - L.A. CAPPELLA (4:37). When Macola Records picked it up they pressed new records with the same tracks front and back and this is the copy I have. After this copy under Macola records EAZY E NWA released a remix version/radio play that EAZY E NWA went back to the studio and changed it up so they would play it on the radio. Copy I'm selling only has on side A THE BOYZ -N- HOOD explicit lyrics version and FAT GIRLS

Side B. L.A. IS THE PLACE & L.A. CAPELLA.

EVERYONE ELSE HAS THE OTHER RELEASE THAT CAME AFTER. THAT INCLUDES BOTH VERSIONS OF THE BOYZ -N- THE HOOD ( explicit and radio edit version from Eazy Duz it album ) on Side A and L.A. IS THE PLACE AND FAT GIRL on Side B.  Everyone is selling this version or has sold this version on eBay. The version I'm selling has not been sold or put on eBay being that it's a hard copy to get a hold of. I have 2 for sale. Samples used on EAZY E " THE BOYZ -N- HOOD " Whodini -I'm a Ho / vocal samples from Hold It Now - Beastie Boys and Mr. Big Stuff by Jean Knight. Record label has been colored with a black marker. Record has swirls and some visible scratches. And some pops where the visible scratch is at. I have listened to both sides and record plays nice with very light back ground noise ( mostly noticeable when music is not playing ). Popping sound is not bad but I just want to add that in. Overall plays nice without skips. The record looks worse than the quality of sound of this record. No inner sleeve. Track THE BOYZ -N- HOOD plays with NO popping sound. I think the couple popping sounds were on L.A. IS THE PLACE CAPPELLA ( last track on side B ). You won't be disappointed with the quality of the sound.
