A FEW LAMINATE CREASES TO THE FRONT AND SOME LIGHT WEAR TO THE BACK WITH GRUBBINESS IN PLACES TO THE FLIPBACKS. SLIGHT DISCOLOURATION TO THE FRONT IN PLACES FROM AGE. NO EDGE SCUFFING NO RIPS & NO SPLITS. HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!!

SPINE: (EX+) ALMOST PERFECT! THE SPINE IS UNDAMAGED AND ALL THE TEXT IS FULLY READABLE. YELLOWING FROM AGE AND COMPLETELY SMOOTH.  THE TOP AND BOTTOM SPINE ENDS ARE SLIGHTLY PINCHED (LIKE YOU SEE ON ORIGINAL BEATLES FOR SALE  BUT NOT HAS EXTREME). THE TEXT IS ALMOST UNDERNEATH ON THE  BACK OF THE SLEEVE (SEE PICTURES) AND AT FIRST GLANCE YOU PRESUME IT HAS BEEN FLATTENED BUT ON CLOSE INSPECTION YOU CAN SEE THAT THIS MUST HAVE HAPPENED DURING MANUFACTURING. NO SPLITS.

INNER: (VG+) PLAIN WHITE PAPER INNER WITH 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' TEXT IN BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER HAS NO SPLITS AND NO WRITING OR STICKERS. BOTH SIDES ARE SLIGHTLY YELLOW/BROWN IN PLACES FROM AGE.

LABELS: SIDE 1 (EX+) SIDE 2 (EX-) BOTH LABELS ARE FREE FROM ANY UNWANTED WRITING & STICKERS AND HAS THE 'SOLD IN THE UK...' TEXT. SIDE 2  HAS 'K' & 'T' CLEARLY EMBOSSED AROUND THE CENTRE HOLE. BOTH SIDES HAVE A FEW LIGHT SPINDLE MARKS AROUND THE CENTRE HOLE. (SEE PICTURES).

VINYL VISUALLY: SIDE 1 (EX-) SIDE 2 (EX+) THE VINYL IS COMPLETELY FLAT AND GLOSSY AND WHEN ANGLED UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT BOTH SIDES ARE VERY CLEAN WITH ONLY A FEW LIGHT PAPER SCUFFS AND HAIRLINES. SIDE 1 HAS A LIGHT SCRATCH AT THE START OF THE SIDE WHICH IS 1" LONG AND IS CLEARLY VISIBLE IN NORMAL LIGHT (THE SECOND HALF OF IT IS FEELABLE AND CAUSES A FEW LIGHT POPS DURING THE FIRST HALF OF 'ELEANOR RIGBY' AS EXPLAINED BELOW). A LITTLE DUSTY IN PLACES SO MAY BENEFIT FROM A PROFESSIONAL MACHINE CLEAN. THIS RECORD HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN RARELY PLAYED. VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!

PLAYING GRADE: SIDE 1 (EX) SIDE 2 (NEAR MINT) BOTH SIDES HAVE BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO ON BEYER-DYNAMIC DT-150 HEADPHONES ON A COUPLE OF SYSTEMS WITH A SHURE WHITE LABEL CARTRIDGE & STEREO NEEDLE & BOTH SIDES PLAY AT LEAST EXCELLENT WITH THE LOUDER MAJORITY OF THE MUSIC PLAYING AT LEAST EXCELLENT PLUS IF NOT HIGHER! VERY LIGHT BACKGROUND STATIC/CRACKLE NOTICEABLE IN PLACES DURING THE RUN-INS ON BOTH SIDES AND IN PLACES DURING THE QUIETER MUSIC. SIDE 1 HAS A FEW LIGHT CLICKS/POPS DURING THE FIRST HALF OF 'ELEANOR RIGBY'  AND SOME LIGHT BACKGROUND CRACKLE DURING 'HERE THERE AND EVERYWHERE' BUT THAT IS IT! THIS VINYL HAS BEEN STORED UNTOUCHED FOR OVER 45 YEARS AND IS A LITTLE DUSTY IN PLACES SO MAY BENEFIT FROM A PROFESSIONALLY MACHINE CLEAN. I AM BEING HIGHLY CRITICAL AND MY PLAY GRADE IS ALWAYS BASED ON WHAT I CAN HEAR ON BEYER-DYNAMIC DT-150 HEADPHONES WITH THE TREBLE TURNED UP FULL! EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION ESPECIALLY AS A GENUINE EARLIEST STEREO UK 1ST PRESSING! THE PRODUCTION ON THIS ALBUM IS SIMPLY AWESOME AND IS FAR SUPERIOR TO ANY DIGITAL REMASTER OR VINYL REPRESSING. A BEAUTIFUL LOOKING AND PLAYING COPY OF AN INCREASINGLY RARE BEATLES CLASSIC NOT TO BE MISSED!!

EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION!!

DON`T MISS OUT ON THIS!!

GRADING

All records are graded using the Record Collector Grading System with (+) or (-) to show a slightly higher or lower grade.

M (Mint) : The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EX (Excellent): The Record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VG (Very Good) : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

G (Good) : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

F (Fair) : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POSTAGE & PACKAGING

I always charge less postage than what it actually costs me. If the actual cost of postage is less then I will refund the difference. All records are posted fully insured. In the UK they are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded delivery (Special Delivery at no extra charge if the record is £50 or over). Overseas all records are posted via Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed, tracked or signed depending on what options are available. All vinyl is posted using correct card record mailers/cruciform boxes with at least 5 cardboard stiffners. The sleeve is always sent in a new poly outer and the vinyl is put in a new polylined paper inner outside of the sleeve to avoid splits/damage during transit. 7" vinyls sleeves are sent in a new PVC outer and the vinyl is put in a new card inner outside of sleeve. I will always do everything I can to guarantee that your record arrives in the same condition it leaves me.
