CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition, the double album gatefold sleeve has an excellent glossy laminate and has remained relativity free from any ‘scuffs’ and indentations. One of the best condition sleeves I have seen for a long time. The sleeve has retained its four excellent sharp opening edges. The sleeve has remained an excellent glossy clean, fresh white in colour. On the front it has an embossed Beatles logo and a unique individual SERIAL number of No. 0484190, this number appears clear and bold. To the rear there is a small printed ‘Stereo’ logo, proving this to be a genuine STEREO sleeve, this is also printed clear and bold. The spine is in excellent+ condition and has remained an excellent fresh white in colour and all the text is clear to read. The spine has some of the usual ‘flaky’ laminate to it. When the gatefold sleeve is opened it is  super clean with an excellent glossy laminate. The sleeve features two visible flipbacks when the sleeve is opened, these flipbacks are all excellent and well stuck down. There are NO splits, tears, stains, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE INNER SLEEVES: are in excellent+ condition and are the original Apple black inner sleeves and have not been replaced. Each sleeve has just has some small ‘nicks’ to one side of the opening edges. Two excellent relatively crease free sleeves. Theres NO tears or splits and no sellotape repairs.

THE POSTER: the original poster is in excellent++ condition. It has remained fresh, white and clean. Theres NO pen writing, sellotape / residue, pin holes, blue tack residue, stains, tears, stickers or sticker residue. There is some light age related marks here and there.

THE PHOTOS: the original four photos are in excellent condition. Theres NO pen writing, pin hole damage, sellotape / residue, blue tack residue, tears, stickers or sticker residue. To the top left of each photo there a small crease. The original white paper sheet spacer is in excellent++ condition, it has remained fresh, white and clean.

THE RECORDS: side one is in excellent+ condition, side two and three are in excellent++ condition. Side four is in MINT condition (when viewed under normal daylight conditions). The records are made of the original ‘thick and heavy’ vinyl.

The matrix are: YEX 709 – 1, YEX  710 - 1, YEX  711 - 1 and YEX 712 - 1.

The mother / stampers are: ‘4  L O’, ‘ 4  MG ’, ‘ 5  H G ’ and ‘ 4 T H ’.

THE AUDIO: side one plays excellent, with just some light ‘ticks’ and crackle heard on the introduction on track one, once this clears the rest of the audio plays excellent with excellent quiet grooves. Side two plays excellent+ with just some light ‘dusty’ static. Side three plays excellent++ with excellent quiet grooves. Side four plays excellent with just some light ‘ticks’ and crackle heard on the introduction on track one, once this clears the rest of the audio plays excellent with excellent quiet grooves. The records play with an excellent clear loud period stereo sound. As the playing surfaces are so clean I think a professional clean would remove any of the audio issues. Each record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: are all in near MINT condition. As this is a very first issue, two of the labels feature the original DARK green Apple colours. All the labels show the text ‘Sold in UK’ etc. Each label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
