From out of nowhere comes a new DEVENDRA BANHART single. Only 500 copies were made of this one-sided 12" featuring the almost 10 minute long track "White Reggae Troll" / "Africa" which was a hidden mp3 on the CD format of the 'Cripple Crow' album.
Combining reggae and African rhythms into one, Banhart still manages to get some rock into it and make this track such a gem. Eschewing the folksy wailing he's become synonymous with about halfway through, then the twisted reggae turns into LIQUID LIQUID style clipped funk.... This is a one time only pressing and is guaranteed to fly out - so get on it and start tugging that beard.
