I bought as a nm pressing. It is a vg copy with one side being closer to a vg+ . The vinyl pressing has high gloss and minimal hairlines/markings. I was hoping it was an "audiophile" grade copy with zero surface noise but it had the typical "quiet passage noise" common for this and other floyd albums. One side plays pretty quiet and the other has some pops and ticks on latter half. It is no noisier than the last 6 (yes 6) copies I have bought trying to find the true nm copy. The overall sonics of this particular copy are not bad and i havent even done the ultrasonic cleaning yet. Its a decent copy to be sure and you wont need to clean it before playing for your first spin.
A true nm copy will cost $60+ dollars. I have not had luck finding one yet and will continue my search. This will be ultrasonically cleaned and VPI 16.5 cleaned. I include a 3mil jacket protector and a mofi anti static sleeve.

***if you do some research on this pressing there are comments about this and wish you were here being very hard to find clean and noise free. With wish you were here you can buy the 2011 vinyl remaster (digital ) but with animals, there hasnt been a reissue since 1997 and its digitally sourced. If you want an analog minty pressing of animals you need to do what i have been doing; buying, selling, and returning until you find your "holy grail" copy. I have yet to find it and this was my 7th try.
