You are bidding for a CLASSIC US 40'S R &B / BLUES 78 RPM single by ARTHUR BIG BOY CRUDUP called ROCK ME MAMMA BLUES backed with WHO'S BEEN FOOLIN' YOU issued on the BLUEBIRD record label in the US in 1943, cat number 34-0725 (BLUE/BLACK AND GOLD LABEL). The record is in excellent condition with excellent labels .The record has little wear with few slight surface scuffs and no surface scratches and plays with no jumps and clicks and a minimum of surface noise. CLASSIC US R& B/ DELTA BLUES from BIG BOY CRUDUP with two originals from this pioneering country blues artist. ARTHUR BIG BOY CRUDUP was a Mississippi delta blues singer and guitarist sometimes refered to as "The Father of Rock and Roll" due to his influence on "The King of Rock and Roll", ELVIS PRESLEY, who recorded CRUDUP'S "That's Allright (Mama)" for his initial, breakthrough record. He also wrote many other well known songs, such as "My Baby Left Me" and "So Glad You're Mine" which also have been covered by Presley and dozens of other artists.. A little piece of recording history... RARE in decent condition, from my own collection.
