This is a rare opportunity to buy a very rare piece of Depeche Mode Violator-era limited release vinyl.
This was the limited edition 12" release for the final single from the album, World in my Eyes, and it came sealed in a blue gel PVC sleeve, the idea being that you had to cut the sleeve open to access the record.
I purchased an extra copy at the time, as I did with all their vinyl releases in the 90's, as well as their CD single releases (the limited CD single of this release was also a very hard item to find at the time, too and I still have an extra one of those, which I will also be selling shortly)
What I really like about this sealed cover is the little 'cut here' writing next to the dotted line along the top of the sleeve, which actually says 'violate here' with the little scissor logo (I have tried to photograph this, but the font is tiny!)
I have seen the occasional one of these for sale, but they have always been slit open, but this copy is still completely sealed, and is mint as you could get, as it has been stored safely since purchase along with the rest of my vinyl collection.
However, I am having a clear out and the time has come to let the extra copy go, so I am offering a big DM fan the rare chance to get hold of one of these hard to find sealed sleeves.
