Seit 2013 treiben High Priest Of Saturn ihr Unwesen. Mit ihrem Debut verbreiteten sie ihren düsteren Stoner/Doom mit Echo getränkten Vocals und Hammond Orgel bereits eindrucksvoll.

Als würden sich Acid King und Blood Ceremony sich irgendwo im fernen Kosmos begegnen. Zweieinhalb Jahre später sind sie zurück mit einem fest integrierten Keyboarder und einem eher Vintage/Psych-Rock Anspruch.

,Son of Earth and Sky" wurde live und ohne viele Overdubs in den Brygga Lydstudio Trondheim eingespielt.

Der Band war die Herangehensweise sehr wichtig: ,The songwriting has been more of a collaborative effort this time, with everybody in the band participating to some extent.

This, in addition to recording the tracks live and being able to play off each other and improvise some parts, has given the whole thing a more dynamic feel than the debut." Ihren Hang zum epischen haben sie keinesfalls verloren.

Drei der insgesamt fünf Stücke knacken die 9 Minuten Marke und zeigen eine Band, die sich auf ihre Stärken konzentriert hat und einen befreiten und schnörkellosen Blick auf die 60er und 70er Jahre wirft.
