Description of the record:

This is a single vinyl album by Pink Floyd called “Dark side of the moon”.

Sleeve:

Later pressing 5th issue; the gatefold sleeve shows sign of edge ware and shelf wear and has been graded VG.

Inner Sleeve:

Original EMI standard white inner sleeve graded as Ex.

Posters and Stickers:

The 2 stickers are in unused condition and have been graded as Ex. The Pyramid poster has been graded as Ex. The band poster has splits on folds and rip (see picture) and had been graded as Gd.

Labels:

Clean minor traces of spindle ware. Black harvest label with blue outline prism. Text around the top edge of the label starts at 10 o'clock and says; “EMI Records Ltd. All rights of the manufacturer and of the owner of the recorded work reserved”. Text around the bottom edge of the label starts at 8 o'clock and says; “Unauthorised public performance, broadcasting, and copying of this record prohibited made in GT Britain”.

Vinyl:

The record has been pressed in black vinyl and has been graded as drifting between the grades of Ex and VG. This is an original release on “EMI Records Ltd” from 1973. The matrix for side 1 is SHVL 804 A-9 and for side 2 is SHVL 804 B-7. The code for the album is SHVL 804. The running order is laid out below:

The record was graded using a Linn Adikt cartridge combined with a Gyger 2 stylus through an audiophile system. For grading definitions see the bottom of this advert.

Packaging:

The record will be packaged appropriately to prevent any damage from occurring during transit. Sealed records are not tampered with; if the records are not sealed then the following steps are taken. Records are removed from the outer sleeve to prevent damage occurring to the records or outer sleeve during transit. If records are housed in customised inner sleeves then the records are removed from the customised inner sleeves and placed in white inner sleeves. This prevents damage occurring to the customised inner sleeves such as seam splits and ring ware during transit.

Items will be posted the next working day after payment has been received or cleared.

If more than one item is purchased, where possible, postage and packaging will be combined to give the cheapest and most appropriate postal option.

Definitions for Record Grading:

M = Mint

M sleeve: No wear of any kind to the sleeve.

M record: No wear what so ever to the record. Any mint records in this collection will have been played only a handful of times.

Ex = Excellent

Ex sleeve: Some slight wear to the cover; some impression to the cover; no seam splits.

Ex record: Minimal wear; some scuffs; record plays close to perfect.

VG = Very Good

VG sleeve: Some ageing; minor wear to seams or spine; minor creasing, some impression.

VG record: Some surface scratching; some back ground noise but not obtrusive.

Gd = Good

Gd sleeve: Cover in poor condition; seam splits; tears.

Gd record: Surface scratching; back ground noise is obtrusive.`
