Born in Nova Scotia, Eddy started to play guitar at the age of seven. When Bill Haley revolutionized the sound of music in the mid-fities, Eddy was there. After touring with Bill Haley and the Comets, personal appearances with Buddy Knox, The Fendermen and many others, he recorded his first four songs at Starday Studios in Nashville (Side A).
