Whitney make casually melancholic music that combines the wounded drawl of Townes Van Zandt, the rambunctious energy of Jim Ford, the stoned affability of Bobby Charles, the American otherworldliness of The Band and the slack groove of early Pavement.

The band’s debut album, Light Upon The Lake, is released on Secretly Canadian, and marks the culmination of a short but incredibly intense creative period.

Vinyl Records and their Sleeves are very easily damaged in the post, with our 10 years experience we take great care when packaging vinyl records, by opening and removing the inner sleeve (without touching the record) to try and avoid any problems.

***Although, if you would rather we did not carefully open one side of the PVC sleeve (if supplied), please call us once the order has been placed, we cannot accept any responsibility for spine damage to the sleeve in transit if the record is not removed***
