Joe Alexander Quintet Blue Jubilee Jazzland JLP 923S stereo deep groove black label
Joe Alexander (ts), John Hunt (flhn), Bobby Timmons (p), Sam Jones (b), Al Heath (d) Recorded 1960
black label and deep groove both sides. No address on back cover.
Record looks M- and plays VG++ near M-. There's a few seconds of surface noise at the beginning of each side which is probably due to auto changer drop. Record plays very well. Two very light scuffs which do not affect play on Side 1. Grooves do not show graying or spreading. A very nice copy.
Cover is M-.
Front cover looks really nice with little or no wear. Back cover has light wear, a stamp and "N-" written in pencil. No seam splits. Top seam and bottom seam have light wear. Spine is intact and print readable. Tiny spots of wear at the corners.
I WILL BE RUNNING WEEKLY AUCTIONS OF 50s and 60s JAZZ LPS INC BLUE NOTE 1500s PRESTIGE NYCs TRANSITIONS ETC. MANY WEEKS AND SOME HIGH END ITEMS TO COME.
My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
