Judy Stone-20 Golden Greats-LP-1980 Festival Australian issue-L 25384-Col Joye-Bee Gees

Judy Stone is one of Australia’s most popular singers.  Her singing career began in late 1956 as support to Reg Lindsay’s touring show ‘The Reg Lindsay Show’ after winning a local talent contest.  Before long she became a permanent regular/favourite on the Bandstand TV show throughout the 1960’s.  Judy signed to Festival Records in 1961 and through the 1960’s and 1970’s had a string of chart hits.  She also toured and recorded with Col Joye during the 1960’s, including a 1965 tour of Japan with Col Joye & The Joy Boys.  The Bee Gees perform backing vocals on the track 'It Takes A Lot'.  This 1983 compilation album features 20 songs recorded by Judy Stone for Festival Records during the 1960’s, including many hit singles.  Jacket is in excellent condition – very small spine split.  Vinyl LP is in excellent condition - Scarce and hard to find! (L 25384)
