Bill Evans       Portrait In Jazz      Riverside RLP 1162 stereo black label deep groove

Bill Evans (piano), Scott LaFaro (b), Paul Motian (d)    Recorded 1959

Black "microphone" label and deep groove both sides.  "233 West 46th Street, New York 36, N.Y." address on back cover.

Record looks VG++ and plays VG+ due to quietness of the music.  Both sides have some light scuffs and some small light scratches. No heavy or repetitive scratches. The record plays well with light surface noise and the music strong and undistorted.

 Cover is VG+.

Front cover has moderate to heavy wear and a small piece of missing slick at the bottom, near the pocket.  Back cover has light to moderate wear. Top seam taped and probably split app 5 inches at the pocket and 2 inches at the spine. Bottom seam not split. Spine has app 1/2 inch of slick missing at the bottom.   Heavy wear on seams and spine, especially at the corners.
