KULA SHAKER ‘K’ - A COMMEMORATIVE 20TH ANNIVERSARY RELEASE

Following the release of their latest album K 2.0 earlier this year, Kula Shaker have announced a 20th Anniversary Edition of their debut album ‘K’ for release on BMG on 28th October 2016. The band are currently on a 40 date, 11 country tour which takes them up to the end of the year including two nights at the Forum in London. This celebratory edition of ‘K’ will be available on CD and LP formats featuring an extensive sleeve note booklet recalling the story of the band’s conception and the album’s creation including indepth interviews with the band, producer, designer and illustrator of the iconic sleeve.

With a blend of 60s rocking, Britpop and Indian mysticism, ‘K’ was born from the influences of George Harrison, The Grateful Dead, The Kinks, Deep Purple and the Doors. The album combined an onslaught of volume, overdriven guitars, and catchy melodies resulting in an album that remains an excellent blast of colourful neo-psychedelia. It produced four classic hit singles including ‘Grateful When You’re Dead’, ‘Tattva’, ‘Hey Dude’ and ‘Govinda’ and became the fastest selling British debut album of 1996, ‘K’ hit the No.1 spot upon release and still features in Q Magazine’s ‘100 Greatest Albums of All Time’ list.

The band will be playing the album in its entirety at the dates alongside songs from their following four albums. The release is a celebration of a stunning debut and reminds us of a great British band who, on their reformation have continued to excite and inspire fans all over the world. Far from gazing at the past, their confidence and continued success means they can commemorate this fantastic part of their history whilst forging ahead with new and innovative music and plans.

Vinyl Records and their Sleeves are very easily damaged in the post, with our 13 years experience we take great care when packaging vinyl records, by opening and removing the inner sleeve (without touching the record) to try and avoid any problems.

***Although, if you would rather we did not carefully open one side of the PVC sleeve (if supplied), please contact us once the order has been placed, we cannot accept any responsibility for spine damage to the sleeve in transit if the record is not removed***

DELIVERY TIMESCALE: We expect to deliver all orders within 7 working days of the orders being placed. Still, sometimes delivery could take longer, according to the destination country and its postal services:

- up to 14 working days for UK parcels

- up to 21 working days for Europe parcels

- up to 30 working days for Worldwide parcels

If your parcel has still not arrived within the periods stated above (according to your country), please contact us straight away.

Faulty / Delivery Errors: To return an item you believe is faulty or you have received the wrong item, please e-mail us. We test all returned goods and reserve the right to return the product to you at your expense if we cannot reproduce or agree the fault is a manufacturing fault. In the event that your order is damaged in the post, please ensure the goods remain sealed, refunds will not be made if we deem that the customer is responsible for the damaged caused.

Should you receive any items that you did not order, or that prove to be faulty, you can return them to us by emailing to request our returns address within 14 days of delivery.

Damaged items: If the damage is limited to standard cases, please email us with details of the damaged cases and we can send replacements out to you. If the damage affects the product itself, the libretto or any non-standard packaging, please follow the instructions for faulty items within 14 days of receiving the delivery.

Unwanted Purchases: You may return your order by informing us of this by email up to 14 days after receiving the delivery. Goods must be returned to us unopened (factory sealed) or un-used and you must obtain a proof of postage receipt for the returned goods, the buyer is responsible for return costs.

Please note that we are unable offer an exchange service on unwanted items. If you wish to exchange your order, please return the item for a refund, and place an order for the alternate item. We are happy to refund unwanted items that are returned to us within 21 days after receiving the delivery.

For all returns: Please enclose a note quoting your order number, what you are returning, the reason for return, and specifying whether you require the correct item to be sent out, or a refund within 21 days of receiving the item.
