Notes:

• Original 1983 pressing on EMI Made in England  

• No Barcode - EMA 800 

• Matrix/Runout Side 1: EMA 800 A2U-1-1 [Utopia Lyra Symbol]

• Matrix/Runout Side 1: EMA 800 B-2U-1-1 [Utopia Lyra Symbol]

Please note: White marks on the pics are overhead lights reflecting, not marks or damage 😀


Vinyl Surfaces - Ex 

• There are moderate number of visible light marks on each side when looking carefully. 

• Vinyl has been well cared for and has nice sheen. 

• No major deep scratches and no expected signifiant effect on sound quality, maybe some light crackles in between songs. 

• Runout areas have light visible marks 


Vinyl Labels - Near Mint 

• Both labels like new. 

• No mould, scratches or marks. 

• Colours and printed text all perfect 

• Tiny amount of wear on spindle holes 

Outer Sleeve - VG+ 

• nice sheen all round 

• Visible wear on corners 

• Some wear and creasing on spine, but writing still intact and visible. Small tape repair one part of spine.

• small visible mark on front cover  (in line with eddies elbow on the right - see pic) 

• back cover has slight 'circle', probably from the stiff card innner's hole. 

Inner Gatefold - Excellent 

• Band picture part excellent, no colour fading, a couple of tiny creases. 

• Lyric part excellent. All lyrics perfectly visible and no colour fading

• Inner spine excellent with no marks or wear 


Original black 'round-cornered' inner sleeve - Excellent 

• nice sheen, a couple of small creases only.

Mint (M)

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable

Good (G)

Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F)

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P)

The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

Bad (B)

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
