This is a U.S. promotional copy of The Moody Blues’ “Octave” LP, released in 1978. A sticker on the shrink wrap states a limited pressing of 5,000 copies.

The album is open (not sealed) and appears to be unplayed. Jacket, inner sleeve, and disc are Mint/Mint Minus. Again, it appears unplayed. The shrink wrap is torn at top and bottom about an inch from the jacket opening and the shrink is folded back on the front cover, but all shrink is still there and tight.

The album was pressed on blue, marbled vinyl (see pictures). This copy comes from a record industry executive’s private collection. It has been in his LP library for decades. He obtained it directly from a London/Polygram promotional staff member at the time of release.
