Einer der meist verehrten Gitarrengötter der Rock'n'Roll Geschichte, Uli Jon Roth, wird ein ganz besonderes Live-Konzert aus der Nakano Sun Plaza Hall Tokyo, Japan unter dem Titel "Tokyo Tapes Revisited-Live In Japan" veröffentlichen. Das Konzert zelebriert Roths frühe Arbeit mit den Scorpions und wurde am 20. Februar 2015 in der gleichen Halle aufgenommen wie der Bandklassiker von 1978, das Livealbum "Tokyo Tapes". Roth war Gründungsmitglied der Scorpions, verließ die Band im Jahr 1978, um eine Solokarriere mit seiner Band Electric Sun zu verfolgen. Als der kreative Herzschlag der Scorpions bekannt, erlangte Roth weltweite Anerkennung für sein einzigartiges Gitarrenspiel und herausragendes Kompositionstalent.

Das Konzert erscheint als Bluray und DVD-Version im Digipak mit jeweils zwei CDs sowie als limitiertes Super Deluxe Box Set. Diese hochwertige aufklappbare Box beinhaltet vier 180g LPs mit Roths "Scorpions Revisited" Album, welches bisher nicht auf Vinyl erhältlich war. Außerdem findet sich in der Box ein 80seitiges Hardcover 12" Fotobuch, das auch 8 Discs beinhaltet: 1 BluRay des Konzerts in Tokyo, 1 Bonus BluRay (mit Originalaufnahmen der ersten Japantour der Scorpions, gefilmt mit Ulis persönlicher Super-8 Kamera), 2 Audio CDs des Konzerts in Tokyo und 4 Bonus Audio CDs der Konzerte in Osaka und Nagoya von der gleichen Japan Tour. Darüber hinaus wird die Box komplettiert durch einen Uli Jon Roth Gitarren-Schlüsselanhänger und ein Echtheitszertifikat, handschriftlich nummeriert und unterschrieben von Uli Jon Roth persönlich.
