LABEL:    Nordskog 3002

TITLES:  I Don't Care

CONDITION:  EE+

DESCRIPTION:

Glossy copy of scarce one-sided gold label Nordskog by vaudeville sensation Eva Tanguay recorded in Los Angeles in 1922.  "I Don't Care" was her signature song and her only recording, but on stage she had other numbers such as "Go As Far As You Like" and "That's Why They Call Me Tabasco".  Her boundary pushing vaudeville act ran from 1905 through the mid-1920s, and she was a celebrated agent provocaeur long before there was a Roaring Twenties.  Billed on the Nordskog label as Cyclonic Eva Tanguay, she was also called 'The Human Gyroscope", the "Princess of Firecrackers" and "Mother Eve's Merriest".  A 1" lateral scratch that tics for 24 grooves and some noise in the shellac toward very end.  A few letters (K B 1) on label.  From the Ken Swerilas collection.
WAIT FOR SECOND INVOICE - THE ONE NOT AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED BY EBAY IMMEDIATELY AFTER CLOSE OF AUCTION.
