Iron Maiden - Live At The Palladium (Beast On The Road Tour '82) Unofficial Live LP on Stardust Records with Photos from the 'Seventh Son' Tour

MikesListeningBooth 😀  If you'd like to hear MP3 samples of the actual LP listed, please let me know and I can send you a private link. I play all my vinyl in full as part of grading and also record/convert to hi-res MP3.

Notes:

Rare late 80s pressing on Stardust Records  'IM-01' Matrix/Runout : IM01 A/B  Unofficial Vinyl and very rare  Please note there is a scratch on 'Phantom' which causes it to stick. I'll provide a Hi-Res MP3 version of the album which does not have the stick so the buyer can load into their digital collection as well as having the Vinyl.

Condition - Please read and remember this is a 30-odd year old vintage item, pics and description are honest so please look & read in full.

Vinyl Surfaces - VG

Audio Test: VG.  (Audio-Technica deck and studio headphones)

Album sounds very good  - apart from a stick on 'Phantom of the Opera' Hallowed Be Thy Name has half on side 1 and then starts again from the beginning on side 2... Light background noise/crackles on gaps between songs and on quiet parts of songs (of which there aren't that many)  Please listen to the audio samples on the link above and if you have any questions let me know, happy to help out.  This is a copy of a radio broadcast that I'd guess was taped back in 1982 and did the rounds as a bootleg.

Visual/Bright spotlights: VG - apart from the scratch on 'Phantom'

Small to moderate to very light hairlines - the kind you get from fairly careful handling of a vinyl that has been played many times but is still very good to listen.  One bloody great deep scratch on 'Phantom Of the Opera' which causes the track to stick (please see pics)  Excellent sheen Cleaned using L'arc du son cleaning fluid

Labels - EX

• Both labels excellent

• No mould, scratches or major marks.

• Colours and printed text all perfect

• Small amount of wear on spindle holes

Outer Sleeve - VG+

• Nice sheen all round, no marks, rips, label marks or colour loss on front or back covers

• Spine has a small amount of wear, writing is perfectly visible, spine has been squashed a bit.

• Corners have a small amount of wear.

• Has clearly been stored in a plastic sleeve and very well cared for - supplied in plastic cover to keep it in same condition

Vinyl Care/Preparation

• I hand-clean every vinyl listed using L'Arc Du Son cleaning solution. This removes old grease, dust etc. to improve the playback quality. This does sometimes leave residue marks, but these don't affect play.

• Once cleaned, I 'buff' the Vinyl using a very soft cleaning-cloth, then place it into an anti-static black sleeve. This sleeve is supplied with the Vinyl you buy.

I also carefully clean and dry the Vinyl outer sleeves to remove old finger marks, dirt and dust. Once done the sleeves are placed into a PVC sleeve to keep them nice and clean, they are shipped with the plastic sleeve.

Vinyls are then listened to end-to-end before grading, in order to make sure they don't skip etc. BEWARE VISUAL-ONLY GRADINGS...some Vinyls that look Near Mint to the eye have skips, others that look marked play near-perfectly. I've learned that you can't grade a Vinyl without listening to it :)

Finally, I take lots of pics and rip the Vinyl to 256kbps MP3 (budget deck only at the moment) and make a sample video, uploaded to YouTube to let you hear the quality of the vinyl surfaces and see HD large pictures of the item.

All of the above is done to help buyers be sure of what they are getting before they spend hard-earned money! For this reason, I am not the cheapest on eBay and don't want to be. All offers are considered but please don't expect me to give them away :)
