Townes Van Zandt – For the Sake of the Song (alternate label) vinyl 12" 45RPM

This is a nice copy of Townes Van Zandt's "For the Sake of the Song". This is a stereo copy pressed in 1968, but does have the alternate label where the catalog number is shown to the left of the spindle hole. The matrix numbers are PYS 40001 MGS 1562 XSBV131635-1B and PYE 40001 MGS 1563 XSBV131636-1B.

We did a spot check of the vinyl, and noticed just a tiny bit of surface noise... certainly nothing to be concerned about. We're grading the vinyl as excellent (EX) condition. The cover does have a few flaws -- mostly ring wear, some wear on the upper edge, and a small punch hole near the bottom-left corner. We're grading the cover as a conservative very good (VG). The original inner sleeve is also included, although it does suffer from some creasing and is starting to split at the bottom.
