rare UK first press vinyl 3LP box set released in the 1960s on blue/black "deep groove" COLUMBIA CBS stereo label with catalognumber SBRG 72068-9.  This is the early first pressing including the third LP feat. "Two Portraits of Bruno Walter" in conversation with Arnold Michaelis on the occasion of his 80th birthday (A Talking Portrait), as well as with John McLure introducing excerpts from Dr. Walter's rehearsals prior to the recording of Mahler's Ninth Symphony.  The beautiful box complete with original innersleeves and vinyl all AS NEW in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect!   Famous reference performance by Bruno Walter conducting the Columbia Symphony Orchestra recorded with true audiophile soundquality.  Compare with other famous interpretations by e.g. Otto Klemperer, Leonard Bernstein, Rafael Kubelik, Claudio Abbado,... etc.  See photos ...
