MikesListeningBooth 😀  If you'd like to hear MP3 samples of the actual LP listed, please let me know and I can send you a private link. I play all my vinyl in full as part of grading and also record/convert to hi-res MP3.

Notes:

• Recent Pressing but with original 1986 Mastering, not a remaster.

• Pressed with the Music For Nations Label and Matrix

• No Barcode

• Most likely a recent un.official press but a fantastic visual item and very collectible

Condition:

Graded VERY CRITICALLY under VERY bright spotlight + test play. Pics show item under bright spotlights.

Vinyl Surfaces VG+ (Audio) EX (Visual)

Visual Inspection/Bright Light: EX-

A small number of very light hairlines only and 1 or 2 larger marks. No deep scratches. Great sheen. Red Vinyl and Marbling effect look stunning.

Visual Inspection - Bright Daylight: NM

Audio Test - with Audio Technica Deck and Studio headphones.

Side 1: VG+. Light background noise between tracks and on quiet intros. A few crackles on 2 tracks. Audio quality not as high as black Vinyl but still great to listen to.                                                                      Side 2: VG+ Same as side 1. There are some clicks on a few of the tracks, but no skips Not an Audiophile pressing (IMHO the new remastered version is the best for mastering quality)

Vinyl Labels - NM

• No marks

• Colours and printed text all perfect

• Tiny amount of wear on spindle holes from factory pressing

Outer Sleeve - Near Mint

No creases or rips, no spine crush.  Slight storage indentation near on top edge (please see pics)  Plain anti-static inner sleeve - New

• No marks or creases

• No splits

Vinyl Care/Preparation

• I hand-clean every vinyl listed using L'Arc Du Son cleaning solution. This removes old grease, dust etc. to improve the playback quality. This does sometimes leave residue marks, but these don't affect play.

• Once cleaned, I 'buff' the Vinyl using a very soft cleaning-cloth, then place it into an anti-static black sleeve. This sleeve is supplied with the Vinyl you buy.

I also carefully clean and dry the Vinyl outer sleeves to remove old finger marks, dirt and dust. Once done the sleeves are placed into a PVC sleeve to keep them nice and clean, they are shipped with the plastic sleeve.

Vinyls are then listened to end-to-end before grading, in order to make sure they don't skip etc. BEWARE VISUAL-ONLY GRADINGS...some Vinyls that look Near Mint to the eye have skips, others that look marked play near-perfectly. I've learned that you can't grade a Vinyl without listening to it :)

All of the above is done to help buyers be sure of what they are getting before they spend hard-earned money!  All offers are considered but please don't expect me to give stuff away. I offer great service and put a lot of time and effort into grading, cleaning, provide detailed listings and package carefully 😀
